SEO services in the UAE, for sites that have to work in two languages
The UAE is the most competitive search market in the region and the most linguistically split. The same business needs to be found by an English-searching expat and an Arabic-searching resident, often for the same service — and most UAE sites do one of those well and the other badly. We score both halves on equal footing.
How search actually works in the UAE
Search here divides by audience rather than by topic. Expat-heavy categories — fit-out, logistics, tech — run mostly in English. Health, legal, government-adjacent and family services run heavily in Arabic. Most UAE websites are English sites with an Arabic button bolted on, which is why Arabic queries in those categories are so often won by a weaker competitor who simply wrote real Arabic pages. Paid density in Dubai is high, so the organic and AI-answer positions are worth more here than almost anywhere else in the region.
What decides whether a UAE site ranks
Four things, all of them covered by the free audit:
- A genuine bilingual structure — two URL trees with reciprocal hreflang — not one page that swaps its text with JavaScript, which crawlers and AI engines read as a single language.
- Arabic pages that are indexed at all. We routinely find UAE sites whose Arabic tree is blocked, canonicalised to English, or rendered only after JavaScript runs.
- Local signals per emirate: separate Google Business Profiles, a consistent trade name, an address crawlers can parse.
- Answer-shaped content, because Dubai queries are exactly the kind AI Overviews now resolve without sending a click.
What we do for UAE clients
- Score both language trees separately, so a strong English site never hides a broken Arabic one.
- Fix the bilingual plumbing: hreflang, canonicals, lang and dir, and the RTL rendering bugs that only appear in Arabic.
- Write Arabic pages from Arabic keyword research, targeting the queries your English pages already lose.
- Per-emirate local setup for Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah where you have a real presence.
- Schema and FAQ blocks aimed at the answer box, then monthly re-scoring.
Common questions
Straight answers, including the awkward ones.
Our site is English-only and doing fine. Why add Arabic?
Because "fine" is measured against the traffic you can already see. The queries you are missing never appear in your analytics at all. We will show you the Arabic search volume for your exact services before recommending anything — and if it is not there for your category, we will say so. Plenty of UAE B2B niches genuinely run in English.
We already have an Arabic site. Can you check it?
That is most of what we do here. The free audit runs on any URL, so point it at your Arabic tree and you get a score for that tree specifically. The findings are usually one of three: the Arabic pages are not indexed, hreflang is missing or one-directional, or the Arabic is machine-translated and reads like it.
Do you handle the whole GCC or just the UAE?
Both. Several clients run one brand across the UAE and Saudi Arabia, which needs deliberate handling so the two country trees do not cannibalise each other. That is an Enterprise-shaped engagement and we scope it on the call.
Is SEO worth it when everyone here runs paid ads?
The ad density is exactly why. Heavy paid competition pushes cost per lead up every year, and it does not touch the AI answer or the map pack. The organic and cited positions are the ones you own rather than rent.
Score your UAE site — in both languages
Run the free audit on your English URL, then on your Arabic one. Two numbers, no card, no account, and both reports are yours to keep.
